Hi,

As you're english I'll write into your language (which may involve a few
mistakes).

I don't have any part number for J9 vans (I only have a 2002 spare parts
list which of course doesn't cover this van, moreover the J9 servicing
manuals & spare parts possibly have never been digitalized).

These vans were made with many common Pug parts, and I wouldn't be surprised
the brake switch was the same than those fit to older Pugs, like 504s or
505s. My best guess would be to remove yours and have a trip to a scrapyard
to find any. Don't neglect the 205s or 309s as some J9 clocks were the same
than these two cars.

I remember the brake switch was very similar on my dad's Renault 4, so it
may be another way to go.

Perhaps you'll have a better answer if you try posting to the
news:alt.autos.peugeot group, usually helpful, even with these uncommon &
pretty old models, and mostly populated with english-speaking (and
knowlegeable) people.

HTH,

Hi,

Thank you for your truly helpful reply. Finding common parts is about the
most useful help available! Local scrapyards do have older Pugs. I do know
that the J9 is still made in Turkey but that's a long way to go for a brake
switch.

Your English is a lot better than my French!
regards,
Richard

convenables. Voir dans une "casse" .

Bon courage
